Koleshwari mountain: This is a beautiful sight of foreigners not Chata. It is situated on the banks of the river Niranjana in Jharkhand's Chatra district, Kauleshwari Mountains. Spread over 40.14 acres of Hunterganj Block, this area can be included in Jharkhand's most beautiful hill station.





This mountain, which has been recognized as an international tourist destination, is considered to be a confluence of Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religions. On the occasion of Navratri, the faith of the people of the entire area arises here. Every year there are a large number of tourists from countries like China, Burma, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Taiwan etc. The natural beauty of this mountain, 1575 feet high above the ground floor is amazing. In the middle of the lush green theme of the mountain, Mother Koleeshwari Temple, Shiv Mandir, Jain Temple and Buddhist site are located. The natural beauty of the three lakes and ponds surrounded by them presents a spectacular view.
The name Siddhpith is marked as Kauleshwari - Kauleshvari Sidhpith. This is mentioned in Durga Saptashati. It has been said - Kula Raktee Kuleshwari. That means Kuleswari, who protects Kool, Legend has it that Sriram, Laxman Sita had spent time here in the exile. It is also believed that Kunti had spent the period of ignorance with his five sons here. It is also said that Arjun's son Abhimanyu was married to Matthi Raj's daughter Uttara.Who wrote in the context of Kauleshwari ?
